The journal publishes high-quality original research, reviews & letters in the field of Language Teaching and Learning and its sub-disciplines.

Aims and Scope

The Teaching English as a Second Language Quarterly Journal (Teach Engl Second Lang Q), established in 1981, is a double-blind peer-reviewed quarterly journal, owned, managed & published by Shiraz University. The major aim of this journal is to provide opportunities to share our academic experiences in the form of written scholarly articles, in the areas of teaching and learning English as a foreign/second language, investigated by experts in the above fields across the board. This will give us a chance to exchange our ideas for more intellectual negotiation and interaction among colleagues inside and outside the country. The articles submitted to the journal must be written only in English following the guidelines found in this volume.

Scope

The Teaching English as a Second Language Quarterly Journal is a double-blind open-access peer-reviewed academic journal that provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to share innovative ideas, empirical research, and critical reviews in the field of English language education specially as a second or foreign language. The journal aims to foster scholarly dialogue around the theory and practice of teaching and learning English as a second, foreign, or international language across diverse educational contexts.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Shiraz University is supporting most of the publishing costs of the Teaching English as a Second Language Quarterly Journal. However, to fulfill the remained part of publications fees, the journal required authors to pay Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance which could be found here.

Subscription

Teaching English as a Second Language Quarterly is published as an open access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.
